Vision, according to an English dictionary is the ability to sense or ability of sight.

It can also be said that vision is something one imagines, thinks or sees, or an ideal or a goal towards which one aspires.

Vision is one of the most important things that make a man. A man without vision is a man without a future. Having a vision is setting out goals, plans of what you intend to achieve at a certain period of time.

The important of setting out goals, plans or having vision about a particular thing you what to achieve is to encourage yourself on the step you have taken. Remember the theory of goal setting is SMART. By setting a goal you must be SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE, ATTAINABLE, RELEVANT and TIME-BOUND.

We have notice that a lot of people will not want to be a failure in life but due to lack of plans the failures will set in. Don’t allow things to take you unawares.

A young man of 28 years was asked if given a sum of 1million naira what have could use the money for and he pondered for a while and replied ‘I will think of what to do with it, perhaps buy a car and any other thing that comes around’ tell me with such a reply why won’t he fail in life and still looks up to others for help.

The year 2014 has come already and we have spent some days, have you set your goals? Have you planed on how to spend the money that comes your way? Note that one thing that kills a vision is procrastination which steals away time…
